Don't Think Twice, It's Alright

Photographed by: Nick Dorey

My beautiful and much-anticipated issue of Russh magazine arrived at my doorstep today, and within mere hours I'd read it cover to cover. I just adore Russh, so this editorial for the April/May issue was no exception.

What's your favourite magazine? My list is limitless, but tying at number one would have to be Vogue and Russh. Let me know yours in the comments, and don't forget to follow me (in a strictly non-creepy way of course, unless you're into that kind of thing ;) ) on Facebook, Twitter and Bloglovin'!

A (Fashion) Addict's Dream

At my now much-loved school (never thought I'd be saying those two words so close together), all year 10 students have a week near the end of the year to take up work experience at a business in your area of interest. Obviously we have to organise it ourselves, but thanks to my just-discovered supposed family connections, I landed a week at Shop Til You Drop Magazine!!!

So naturally, any self-respecting fashionista is going to want to look her best for the job of her dreams, even if it's only for a week. So I've been tossing up some ideas and looking to the experts for inspiration. This is what I found. x

Fashionista Flare

This is the full editorial from the June issue of Flare magazine that was featured in yesterday's post. The model is Gracie Carvalho and was photographed by Max Abadian.
I just adore all the colours and patterns used, and the whole editorial just screams originality and a fine fashionista at her best. Comment below and tell me what you think!

I Wanna Be In the Magazines

Just a quick post to tell you all of a fabulous new website I discovered yesterday thanks to the lovely Yiqin at Qin At The Disco (check her out, love her blog!). It's called FashionSpace.com , and it's a site where you can design your very own magazine! It's sort of an insight into what it would be like to be a fashion editor.

And if that wasn't good enough, they're offering an exclusive Depression clutch worth $220 to the person who receives the most likes on their magazine (Check picture below for full details)! I know right? So be sure to check out, and hope you've all had a lovely Thursday!

Strike a Pose, Vogue Vogue Vogue

So it may be from my newly found freedom of holidays, but I have become very lazy. Maybe it's because I've been shopping and on my feet for three days in a row with hardly a break, but I'm just exhausted! So I was sort of stuck for inspiration, and what do we do when we need some va va voom for our brains? Vogue it!

We all love the world-renowned magazine; I mean, when a magazine is available in pretty much every language and country, it has to be on to something. And one of my favourite things about Vogue is the fashion spreads. Clothes from global successes and new-found designers are featured, showing everyone how to look absolutely fabulous in any attire for any occasion.

I promise this is my last day of being lazy, hopefully you all haven't noticed that I've lacked a bit of enthusiasm in regard to the fabulous finds I blogged about, so forgive me with the pretty pictures, yay we all love pretty pictures!

I've included this in another post (clickey clickey) but it's just adorable - I mean, an elephant in Louis Vuitton!

Again, I apologise for the typical sort-of-boring post, but these photos really have given me inspiration, so you won't have to worry about my mental blocks for a while!
