Just A Little Inspiration

Yes yes, I know I haven't posted a lot lately, but I have a reason! School is finally kicking in and spare time is hard to come by. I barely have time to stop and breathe, let alone come up with a riveting blog post. It should get better soon, but for now you'll have to deal with the stressed-so-much-she's-almost-on-the-verge-of-breakdown Evana... Sorry! Anyway, here's some disjointed inspiration from my school computer folder, sorry it's not anything amazing, but I'll do my best!
Love you all, and talk very soon!

Meanwhile, in Paris...

Fashion Week may be in NYC at the moment, but Paris will always be the City of Style.

The City of Fashion

Forget lights and love, when it comes to all things fashion, the place to go is Paris. Sorry New York lovers - you guys are great too! - but you can't deny, Paris is the birthplace of designers that have revolutionised fashion and continue to do so. Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior and Hermes; need I say more?

Parisian chic has been a style of dressing coveted through the ages, and it has been argued back and forth that only a true Parisian can embody the finesse. I both agree and disagree - yes, Parisian chic is named so because of its base and strong routes in Paris, but with a little inspiration and style intuition, any true fashionista can pull it off!

From effortless day looks to the glamour and mystery of the night, here are my favourite looks from the French-inspired scene to get you all started!

I've missed you guys so much, and it's good to be back! Holidays are fun, but home is where the heart is, and also where my computer and stable internet connection is!
Talk soon!

From Paris to Bombay

My obsessive day-to-day check-ins at Chanel.com generally keep me up to date with my absolute favourite fashion label a.k.a my lifestyle. So when I scrolled and discovered the Pre-Fall 2012 Paris-Bombay Collection, I actually smiled maniacally to my computer screen (if anyone had walked past at this exact moment, they'd really think I'd completely gone mental).

For this collection, Karl has infused the glamour and extravagance of historic India with the Parisian chic and aesthetic. The end result? Beaded tunics draped over sheer leggings, classic sweaters fitted with shawl collars, jewel-encrusted flat sandals and brilliant shades fit for the fashion elite that flocked to the scene - the likes of Gaia Repossi, Caroline Sieber and Emmanuelle Alt.

Let me know what you think below, and talk soon! Also, click here and follow me on twitter!
