High End Meets H&M

Okay, okay, I'm not going to go into a long-winded paragraph about my whereabouts and how sorry I am that I've pretty much abandoned blogging for at least a month (it's been a long month my dears). All I'm going to say is that I'll be blogging as much as I can through tests and everything else, so enjoy!

Now recently, with the economic crisis and all, coveted and prestigious fashion houses have been climbing down their pedestals to bring inspiration and innovation to famous yet slightly less exclusive brands. First there was Chanel, who teamed up with Macy's mid-September to bring a classy yet affordable collection, and now it's Versace that has graced us, specifically H&M, with their presence.

Donatella seems to have her thoughts and ideas sorted, with this fabulous collection sweeping stores and screaming couture only the way Versace can. Modelled by the fabulous Abbey Lee Kershaw, the collaboration boasts colourful yet tasteful designs, tassels and all.

I know it's an old editorial (February 2010 - yikes I'm becoming outdated) but this is one of my all-time favourite spreads, taken just before Miss Kershaw's career as a model skyrocketed. Love the dip-dyed hair and the laid back Aussie feel (which is a first!)

Do What You Want With Me

With summer comes its most classical and back-to-basic looks of feminism and fun - short shorts, singlets and, of course, hair styles. But it's more often than not that I find fashionistas at a loss, and end up wearing it down and suffering from the heat. It just seems that a lot of girls feel that hair out = pretty hair. Two words ladies: NOT TRUE. There are soo many up do's out there perfect for summer just waiting for you (Yes YOU!). So get out those bobby pins and that hair dryer and style away!

Little Bit of Love

Sorry again for the boring picture post (I shall call it inspiration, you know you love it), but I have my final exams tomorrow, so studying is (finally) a priority. Sorry for abandoning you my dears, but my birthday party is on Friday, so I'll report back soon!
