Over the Spring rtw shows, a trend has emerged - one that is part provocative, and part ultra-sophisticated. And quite frankly, I'm obsessed. Making A Statement

We're all familiar with statement necklaces, bracelets and even rings, but the new flavour of the month is statement earrings. As painful and heavy as they sound, these babies made a huge comeback in recent collections. Marni’s Consuelo Castiglioni led the way, making door knocker-sized baubles and and modern, colourful hoops a big part of her story this season, and on her heels were well-known designers Oscar de la Renta, Emilio Pucci, Dolce & Gabanna and Missoni.
