While many view fashion month as just a way to check out the latest on the runway, if you look a little deeper and pay attention to your surroundings (which you should be doing in the first place - it's fashion month!) then you'll notice some much more wearable styles all around, and that's street chic.
I must admit that the styles on the catwalk say fabulous, glamorous and new like nothing else, they also scream expensive! SO that's where street chic comes it. It shows how people who don't have a bank account the size of certain celebrities can still look gorgeous and fabulous, and the fun part is their style is so easy to mimic that you don't have to search for miles to find something that looks only remotely like a particular design, and it's a great reenforcement of the obvious fact that fashion is all about your style, not what someone else tells you to wear (but it's always handy if your style happens to be in style)!
Below are probably my absolute favourite outfits on the streets of Paris, New York, London and Milan. I would label them, but me being the genius I am forgot to label them when I collected the photos. Yep, that's how smart I am. I'm as smart as Kate Moss smoking on the runway at Louis Vuitton - FAIL!
Street chic is personally one of my favourite parts of Fashion month, because it allows us to look at the runway style and how celebrities, socialites and others rising to fame alike interpret it, which makes all of our lives a lot easier!
My favourite has to be the fur with leather shorts and ankle boots, she looks stunning! So simple but it really has that wow factor for me! What was your absolute favourite, and from what cities?
